What is a wet system?

A wet system is a multifuel stove, with the addition of a back-boiler. 

The wet system follows the same process as the dry system, but with the addition of a back-boiler, which is usually part of a larger stove with a higher kW output. The boiler is connected to the hot water cylinder, providing further heat to the existing central heating system. Hence, a boiler-stove can not only warm your living room, but can be the main source of heat for your home.  

Any other boiler system, such as oil, gas or LPG, or even just solar panels, can all be easily joined with your multifuel stove to produce eco-friendly methods of heating your home.
